Who We Are

We are a non-profit organization created and managed by a volunteer community of LGHS parents.

Our mission is to make a difference by raising funds to enhance the overall education and student community experience of each and every Los Gatos High School student. Foundation grants take a good education and make it into a great one.

Basic school needs are met by property taxes and state and federal funds. But these funds are mostly “locked in” to specific requirements. By comparison, foundation grants are fast, flexible, and focused on the important needs that teachers, coaches, and school staff identify and that provide the most immediate benefits to students. Plus, by funding 100% of theLos Gatos Home & School club, the our grants help bring together our parents and build our school community.

Since our founding in 2001, the foundation has raised millions of dollars. We rely heavily on the financial involvement and continued support from LGHS families, Los Gatos business partners and the community at large.

All funds raised solely benefit LGHS. Donations are tax deductible.
