Who We Are
We are a non-profit organization created and managed by a volunteer community of LGHS parents.
The foundation provides funds to enhance education at the high school. Our grants take a good education and make it into a great one.
Basic school needs are met by property taxes and state and federal funds. But these funds are mostly “locked in” to specific requirements. By comparison, foundation grants are fast, flexible, and focused on the important needs that teachers, coaches, and school staff identify and that provide the most immediate benefits to students. Plus, by funding 100% of theLos Gatos Home & School club, the our grants help bring together our parents and build our school community.
We are thrilled to announce the LGHS Wildcat Foundation has joined with LGEF, the Los Gatos K-8 education foundation, to create a single business program. In one step local businesses can now support all Los Gatos public schools and reach the entire K-12 Los Gatos education community.
Our mission has never been more critical than today. We all can play a part in helping our students have a successful school year.
